Welcome, Visitors! –Thank you for joining us at today's service. If you'd like more
information about the community at Hope and our ministries, fill out a Welcome card
located in the pew, or sign our Visitor's Register in the church foyer. We'd also like an
opportunity to get to know you, so please join us for fellowship in our Parish Hall.
Christmas poinsettia envelopes are available in the pewbacks today. This is the last day to make donations.
Suggested donation is $10.00 per poinsettia.
Joys of Christmas decorating – outdoor - begins today after the 10:30 service. We especially need people who can
put up lights on the trees and buildings.
Friday, December 17, 7:00 p.m.: "Heaven Rejoices" – A Christmas with Hope Episcopal Church Choir", a
celebration of Christmas in music and song with special guests and featured soloists.
Saturday, December 18: 10:00 a.m. - All final decorations for "Joys of Christmas" will be completed – we need
Joint service with St. James Lutheran at 1602 W. 43rd Street, 10:00 a.m., next Sunday, December 19. There will
be no 10:30 a.m. Eucharistic services at Hope on December 19.
"Joys of Christmas" next Sunday, December 19 - Hope Episcopal's gift to the community, featuring our traditional
live Nativity – 5:00 set up, 6:00 soup supper, 7:00 pageant. Help is needed to make this a success! See the sign up
sheets in the Parish Hall for Volunteer opportunities or call Kathryn Harriss.
YAC (Youth About Christ) Events:
Adult Chaperones Needed – YAC needs adult chaperones at all group activities.
YOUTH LEADER NEEDED: We are still in search of a Youth Leader. If you feel led to work with young people
please speak with Rev. Bobbie.
HEALTH AND WELLNESS CLUB – Meet at the church at 6:00 p.m. each Monday and Friday, and at 7:00 p.m. for
exercise on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Start the new year right and get to work reversing those holiday indulgences!
A big thanks to all the volunteers who came out on Saturday morning to help spread the Kiddie Kushion on
the playground!
Hope Episcopal will again assemble and distribute Christmas boxes for those in our community who need help
this holiday season. Non-perishable food items are much appreciated. All of the food collected will be placed on the altar
and blessed by Rev. Bobbie.
